These next shots show the importance of protecting the Koi from the intense sunlight in these parts of the world.

Great attention must be paid to this aspect of pond design, hence the need of these substantial pillars that will support the roof sections later in the build.

The roof will also give some vital shading on the water surfaces that will not allow water temperatures to equal those that are experienced in unshaded areas.

The filtration units and all other items required will be sent from the UK by air to arrive there around 05/05/11.
