>With regards to keeping simplicity to the fore, I have decided to re-name the models of my filter systems.
The smallest model will remain to be the Compact Filter as shown here. This has proven to be truly excellent for indoor treatment ponds, quarantine ponds, dealer retail ponds and small garden ponds that contain up to 950-gallons (4,300 litres) of water.
The next model up is the new E1 filter and it replaces the longer, narrower and shallower E1 model. This unit handles pond water volumes up to 2,500-gallons (11,300 litres) of water.
Then follows the new E2 filter that also replaces the narrower and shallower E2 model. This handles pond water volumes up to 5,000-gallons (22,600 litres) of water.
The largest standard unit is the new E3 – this used to be the old E2.5 model. This handles pond water volumes up to 7,500-gallons (34,000 litres) of water.
All illustrations shown are for the pump-fed models but there are gravity-fed models of all these available as usual.
The reasons for the reduction in dimensions and the increased performance figures (tested) – revolves around the enormous surface area of the eMat cartridge blocks. With the exception of the Compact Filter all eMat cartridge blocks have 25 x 10mm-thick sheets of eMat to give 50 sheet surfaces on each block.
Standpipes are no longer used on any models and the catchment troughs on all models significantly increase the time period before cleaning is required.
The final costs are now being calculated and firm prices will be posted soon.
Thanks for looking, Waddy.
