As expected long before I launched this site, the information and percentage performances given regarding ALL popular flow patterns used in existing filtration units has brought realisation to many who had never considered this painfully obvious fact before. I had to publish this information purely to explain the river system used in ERIC units.
Sadly, this is not ‘science’ but instead common plumbing knowledge. Please check this again on ‘Of Flow Patterns’ page.
As a result, it has naturally raised some questions, a few doubts and random other thoughts with those currently using upward-flow boxes.
The ‘block’ flow of water in ERIC units is something never even thought possible before which has little to do with any earlier long boxes that may have been glimpsed in ancient designs; add to this the completely unique and finest possible horizontal-flow media barriers ever seen and this should go to explain a few reasons as to why I consider ERIC systems to be the best that money can buy today.
Waddy.
